Product Description Wash up to four standard place settings (10.5" max diameter) with the convenience of operating right on your countertop. At just over 17" tall, this EdgeStar portable countertop dishwasher (DWP60ES) has a low profile that fits comfortably under most cabinetry without permanent installation required. ENERGY STAR certified, the DWP60ES dishwasher consumes a measly 200 kWh/Year, or approximately 61% less energy than similar countertop dishwashers. In addition to saving energy, this model wastes very little water. The DWP60ES has been designed to use less water per load than conventional hand washing. Extremely easy to operate, the EdgeStar DWP60ES countertop portable dishwasher features full digital controls with delayed start option, a stainless steel interior, a powerful spray arm, an included silverware basket, a rinse agent dispenser to minimize water spotting on dishes, and an internal water heater with sanitary wash cycle that eliminates germs and bacteria by boosting water temperature up to 149 F. The included quick connect faucet adapter and five foot hose make hookup to almost any faucet simple and painless.

Great little Dishwasher June 23, 2010 Madelyn Grey (Cambridge, Ma) Ok First and foremost anyone complaining about how the dishes aren't always clean or dry has obviously not used a dishwasher before. Yes if you don't rinse the dishes they don't get clean but I've had full size dishwashers that thisis also true. you do need to use Jet dry or something similar with this one or else the dishes are still wet. In general I've had this washer for 3 weeks and I'm in love with it, it does a great job and once you learn the washing settings it doens't take a rally long time.the noise other people complain about....well it's called the noise a dishwasher makes.....If you are short on space and have 1 or 2 ppl in the house this is the perfect dishwasher for you!!!
Dead on arrival with little help from the manufacturer March 24, 2010 Deals 2 Buy (Toronto, Canada) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The dishwasher came dead on arrival. Being a technically savvy; I checked the device and found that the power on button was faulty. I wrote an email to the company who referred me to the manufacturer. I told them how the device was faulty due to the power button. One of their guys promised that they will send the switch. However the next day, I received an email asking me to send the dishwasher for service. Now living in Canada, shipping would have cost me almost the full price of the device. Then, I asked if they could verify the type of push switch that needs to be replaced and the reply again was to turn the device in. Eventually after a series of endless emails, I bought the push switch myself and replaced it. Device works fine but the technical support of the company does not.
Big Mistake March 20, 2010 skater (Central NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The dishwasher came to me from an online counter/portable appliance Web site. It was leaking from the hoses the minute I started it. The store gave me the number of Edgestar. Edgestar was no help. Their only suggestion was to put plumber's tape on the hose. I got it to not leak as much, but I always have to keep a bucket behind it. I have never had a portable dishwasher before so didn't realize that you have to wait up for it and leave your sink on. It has long wash cycles which I wouldn't mind if it held more dishes but seems like a waste for so few dishes. If you put too much silverware in or too many dishes, it does not clean well at all. You have to keep it VERY light for it to clean half way decent which goes back to long times for such a little amount of dishes. I put it on a rolling cart. If you have the space, that is the best way to do it. My problem is that it is in the way and just doesn't fit in my kitchen at all. I have decided to invest in a built in dishwasher because I like to load dishes when I go to bed and go through more dishes than probably the average single person...I'm guessing anyway. Now I am stuck with an appliance that I paid over $250 for.
Great! February 23, 2010 Zoey C. Goetsch (Los Angeles, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My Danby started leaking out the side so I bout this one. It is much quieter, more energy efficient and looks better. I can even run it at night. The only thing I'd change is make the outlet valves metal instead of plastic. The directions tell you which spoon to put where which is a bit OCD. Forks only go in certain holes. Why?
Great little dishwasher January 24, 2010 D. Schiro 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this unit to replace an out-of-production Equator compact dishwasher that was in need of service. This unit installed easily and washes great. The only downside I have found is that it fits fewer large dishes and has a longer wash cycle than my old Equator. But it uses less water and is whisper quiet. I rated this four stars simply because large pots need to be washed by themselves - they wont fit with other dishes in the washer.
